Our Story
Built on Passion, Knowledge, and Integrity
Haven Renovations is more than just a construction company. It’s a family-led mission to build better homes and stronger communities.
Founded by brothers Akash Gurm and Gaurav Gurm, Haven Renovations brings together technical expertise, real-world experience, and a deep passion for transforming living spaces into meaningful, valuable homes.
Together, they’ve built a business rooted in honesty, skill, and a relentless commitment to doing things the right way, not just the easy way.
The Founders
Meet the Gurm Brothers
Akash Gurm
Co-Founder
After completing his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal in 2013, Akash spent years working in project management, serving local communities with a focus on quality, timelines, and client success. But his true passion always lay in building: creating spaces that serve families, improve lifestyles, and uplift neighborhoods. That vision led to the founding of Haven Renovations.
Gaurav Gurm
Co-Founder
Akash was soon joined by his brother, Gaurav, a Computer Science Engineer with a talent for detail, smart planning, and problem-solving. Together, they’ve built a business rooted in honesty, skill, and a relentless commitment to doing things the right way, not just the easy way.
